I don't trade my personal account full time but i am an ETF portfolio manager as a job. Yes those exist So i have access to allthe sell side research and have bloomberg and whatever else. For what it's worth I can say that Ron's material is both more rigorous and presented more clearly that much of what I see coming out of Gs / Ms...etc. well worth the money and time
Jonathan
I can also say as someone who has studied and been involved in the financial markets trading for almost 20 years, that Ron's course is about the best organized and most thorough of anything I have seen. It is not just about learning a trade to follow by rote, but about truly understanding the internals of options to apply regardless of what strategies you choose to use.
Ben
A common business model in the trading education world is to create a course on a trade and then upsell premium services such mentoring and website access. Nothing wrong with that model if you make it clear that to truly benefit from the course you will need to spend many times the initial investment to get the true nuggets. In Ron's course, all the nuggets are there from the get-go

While I have gone through only 15% or Ron's material, the conclusion I came to is that STT and BSH not only protect other "bread and butter" positions, but (most importantly) relieve psychological pressure and allow allocation of a greater percentage of the trading account, which translates to bigger absolute profit's.
Moshe
I give the course my highest recommendation. Best money I have spent on training. ONE is also right up there as a training/tracking tool. Buy the course and get OV or ONE! Get the course and back test what it teaches you, then go live. Even if you do not use Portfolio Margin or trade an STT, the course has a ton of gold nuggets.
Bart
Tyler, Ron's STT and BSH trades are the 2 best trades I have ever seen for a Portfolio Margin account. I started with trading KST style, and now am trading my biggest positions in these 2 trades instead. I can't recommend them highly enough.
Ray
The above course is the most comprehensive and best put together course I have come across
Ben
Going thru Ron's course... quick review... I am still in the beginning. But so far I found it outstanding. Ron clearly has "teacher" ability. Even going thru the Greeks sections which should be a review, was very useful to make it sink in better. I just wish I had less work, to have more time per day available...
Max
I will have to 2nd all the above comments regarding Ron's course. Itis not even in the same league as a number of the other option gurus (well respected ones). I don't really have words for how great it is...and as Ron said, the community that is developing over there, and all the information that is being shared and masterminded...it's just very impressive.

I'm not finished with the course yet but I was already a big fan of the STT from when Ron presented it at Capital Discussions. The idea of reversing the traditional approach by beginning with a hedging concept and then using it to increase size of ATM structures is a brilliant one. I'm really looking forward to finishing the course.

I haven't traded the STT that much yet but the principles that Ron pulls together on "trading safely with structures very far OTM" are amazing. The idea is if you have a big structure far OTM, then over time, the T+o will lift up giving you no losses to the upside and some decent profit's and/or protection to the downside.

You can watch the 30 min "intro" video at the link Richard posted...even that is good stuff. The full course is about 24+hrs long tho, I warn you! All good stuff and very very well done
Steve
That video will give you a good idea of the STT; the trade has evolved but the essential idea is the same. It'll also give you an idea of whether he knows what he's talking about (he does). The course value is very high relative to the $ cost.

Def. I learned so much about how to think differently about trading, as well as how to leverage PFM.
Richard
I would add that, when you realize how much value, content and detail he's providing for a relatively low price, it's embarrassing to look at other offerings by far better established outfit's.
His particular perspective - first learn how to hedge, then learn how to trade the income positions that the hedges protect - should be the standard, and instead is quite unique.
Richard
The plethora of public information about trading forces those who're charging for their time/information/services to up the ante, and make it worthwhile for to pay.
The content/quality/quantity of Ron's course does this to the extreme.
Richard
I highly recommend Ron's course and the accompanying community to anyone who hasn't joined yet. Worth every penny.
Dave
Not to sound like a broken record but there is enough information between the course and the forums to damn near make it a full time venture just learning and absorbing the knowledge. Good stuff
