Seriously, Ron put an outstanding course together that not only gives a solid overview of fundamentals, but branches into more advanced topics as well that are crucial for any options trader. Finally, he ties it all together in a very applied manner, so that it is applicable regardless of your options trading style or preferences.

Add to that his production quality is excellent. TT, SMB, JL should all buy his course and study it. Ya gotta have speed controls! I don't want to watch your presentation at the speed you gave it at. Not to mention superimposing himself while he gives the lectures makes it easier for us to understand his points and emphasis. And instead of 30min-2hr segments, it's lots of small, bite-size ones. It makes the other trading outfit's look bad - but competition is good!

That's a great point Richard...the production quality and Ron's "teaching" ability are light years importantly more i ahead of the other well-known teachers in this space. It's actually laughable when you watch some of these other productions...

However, to take your taking to the next level, you really need an in depth look at why trades are structured the way they are, what the reasons are that those rules or guidelines are what they are, and most importantly be able to adapt these to what works best for you. In the long run, you do not want to be a M3 trader, or a STT trader, or a RTT trader. You want to be a trader. Out of all the courses I have encountered, Ron's is the most comprehensive in laying out practical applicable options theory that enables you to better understand any of the popular trades that are currently out there, and understand the how, when, and which technique to use. You will get out of it what you put into it.

Definitely teaching a man to fish. Ron is also big into making sure you backtest and get comfortable applying the new found learning to the point you internalize it and own it as yours. It is not about just one specific trade, but about a deep dive into options trading that will benefit you regardless of your style of options trading

To Richard Shaw's point, the Foundations module of Ron's course is indeed more than worth the price of the entire course. The same can be said of each of the other modules individually: the Space Trip Trade (SST) Module, and the Black Swan Hedge (BSH). And as Ron points out, since I trade full time, in addition to Ron's various OTM trades and hedges, I continue to trade ATM BWB trades with long calls and/or call credit spreads. Importantly, however, I am much more comfortable with the ATM trades, knowing that I have several OTm trades and hedges in place in the event that we have either a normal pull back, or a much more dramatic downside move, on the order of August of 2015, or a true black swan event.

Not to be a shill, but Ron's course goes way beyond the version of the STT he presented at The SMB meeting. He delves greatly into many versions of the STT for different market conditions, as well as hedges for the real Black swan event where your STT gets overshot. In addition it is the most in depth dive into practical applicable options theory I have seen in a course.

Many "gurus" day they really want to teach you how to trade, but they still only cover surface level, because they want you suck like a newborn on their tit. Ron and the community he has built is far different. Many of us or developing and pushing the envelope with variations and new ideas, and this is greatly encouraged, since his course is more about giving tools and leaving the application to us as traders.
